Charles Boakai is a Champlin resident, devoted husband, father of two, community advocate, nonprofit leader, and business owner. He is the owner of the Charles A. Boakai Educational Foundation, a nonprofit committed to helping less fortunate children through education, mentorship, youth development, and capacity building. He also serves as CEO of Hensue Legal Consultant LLC.
Charles holds two degrees in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Law and Public Policy. His leadership style is people-centered, collaborative, accountable, and grounded in listening. He believes city government should work with residents—not around them—and that every neighborhood deserves fair representation, responsible governance, and a meaningful voice at City Hall.
